Worthing Loft Conversions
Privacy Policy
Last updated: 14 August 2026
Worthing Loft Conversions ("we", "us", "our") provides this website at worthingloftconversions.co.uk. This policy explains what personal data we collect when you use our online quote tool or contact us, why we collect it, and the choices you have.
Who is responsible for your data
Worthing Loft Conversions is the data controller for personal data collected through this website. You can contact us by phone on 07576 991135 with any privacy question, including the requests listed under "Your rights" below.
What we collect
Our online quote tool asks a small number of non-personal questions about your property (conversion type of interest, roof headroom, property type, and rough timeline) followed by three personal details so we can respond to your enquiry:
- Name — so we know who we're speaking with.
- Phone number — so we can call you back about your enquiry.
- Postcode — so we can confirm we cover your area and give a locally relevant answer.
We do not collect payment details, and we do not use cookies or analytics tracking scripts to profile visitors on this site beyond standard, aggregate traffic measurement tools that may be added from time to time (see "Analytics" below).
How we use it
We use the details you provide only to:
- respond to your enquiry and discuss the loft conversion work you're interested in;
- arrange a survey or follow-up call, if you'd like one;
- keep a record of enquiries so we can follow up appropriately.
We do not sell your personal data, and we do not use it for marketing you haven't asked for.
Legal basis
We process your enquiry details on the basis of legitimate interest — responding to a request you've actively made through our quote form — and, where a survey or contract discussion follows, in preparation for a potential contract with you.
Where your data is stored
Quote form submissions are sent securely to a Google Sheets-based enquiry log via Google's infrastructure (Google Apps Script), which acts as our data processor for this purpose. Google may process this data outside the UK/EEA under its own standard data protection safeguards. We do not share your details with any other third party, other than any tradesperson or contractor directly involved in following up your specific enquiry.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiry details for as long as needed to deal with your enquiry and any resulting work, and for a reasonable period afterwards in case you get back in touch, after which they are deleted. You can ask us to delete your details sooner at any time (see below).
Analytics
We may use aggregate, privacy-respecting analytics tools (such as Google Analytics or Google Search Console) to understand how visitors use this site, so we can improve it. These tools do not identify you personally from a quote form submission.
Your rights
Under UK data protection law, you have the right to ask us for a copy of the personal data we hold about you, to ask us to correct it if it's wrong, and to ask us to delete it. To make any of these requests, contact us on 07576 991135 and we'll deal with your request promptly. If you're not satisfied with our response, you also have the right to complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time as the site or our data practices change. The date at the top of this page shows when it was last updated.
